The plug-ins for Abaqus/CAE supplied with versions of Zencrack up to and including version 7.9-1 will not work with Abaqus 2016 due to a change in the underlying version of Python used in this version of Abaqus. The plugins supplied in the "fe_abaqus\zencrackplugins_6-14_onwards" folder for versions 7.9-2 and 7.9-3 are compatible with Abaqus 2016. i want to investigate effect of crack in lamb wavepropagation in composite plate in abaqus software. to this end, i havemodeled a composite plate using 3Dshell defomable planar part. Also, imodeled crack using seam tool. i have problem in defining contactbetween two edges of crack to transmit wave through it. can anybody helpme please?
