An crucible is a cooking pot used to boil ingredients in a fire, it is similar to a pottery kiln but uses sulphidic clay with a stint attached to the top block. To make a crucible, place a blacksmith's anvil in the unoccupied block, and somewhere over a charged, heated cauldron. Leave for about a month to a month and a half.
With the urns, steel gearboxes, brimstone, white cobble and charge sapped, place everything on the kiln except the soul well, repeat until the Crucible is at about 60% completion (indicated by the reflectively grey layer beneath the crucible). Place the soul well over the crucible and add water.
The crucible is mod-able, number the crucible as you like. Each crucible has a unique and special ability, simply learn their use, they are generally referred to by a color, take note of what color they are. Someone has good taste! When you are ready to begin modding, put the crucible on a sapped coking fire, and add brimstone and white cobble, continuously add these, until the crucible is completed.
Note on the use of blacksmithing tools, please make sure you have everything when getting started, they are easier to get started with prior to getting started modding. They can be sold for gold coin by [Llu */Boss/Llu](http://www.minecraft.net/account/lunabeast).
The crucible is an alloy of steel which can be forged using Steel Gearboxes, as opposed to the Bonemeal required to machine steel, steel gearboxes are "one use" items, and will be destroyed when the item to which they are attached is destroyed. Crucibles are produced by the advance level Blacksmith-forgers and can be used by any Blacksmith who has the proper materials.
Hibachis can be placed in furnaces, furnaces are used to melt special materials (sulphur, redstone, crystal, iron ingots and bones) into certain materials. The process looks like the Keystone in Minecraft.
Unstable items will be more likely to be unstable in a furnace, an unstable item could be revealed if the furnace door is jammed open, as the door is tested for stability, a small amount of pressure is applied. The furnace has a mod to adjust the time the furnace takes to be lit (by depressing a button). d2c66b5586
